Torches arrived!

When I got home on Thursday, the postman left a note to pick up two packages at the post office. I didn’t expect anything but the torches, so that should be them! And they were! Yaaaay!
My boyfriend picked them up after work yesterday and we unpacked them immediately in the studio. Finally, we can install them this afternoon and do a test run. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly!

Toen ik donderdag thuiskwam, zat er een briefje van de postbode in de bus, voor twee pakketten. Aangezien ik niks anders verwachtte, moesten dit wel de branders zijn! En het was ook zo! Joepie!
Mijn vriend ging de pakketten ophalen gisteren na het werk, en we hebben ze direct uitgepakt in het atelier! Eindelijk kunnen we dan deze namiddag alles installeren, aansluiten en testen. Duimen maar dat alles goed verloopt!

First two weeks

Yep, it’s already been two weeks since the new studio opened, so I would like to share some pics of the shop to get an impression: you can find them here. I still didn’t receive my torches yet, so no pics of the actual studio itself, but I expect them soon. I’m also working on the photo’s of the new wintercollection, so check back soon, or visit the fan page on Facebook.

Today they finally installed the internet connection, and boy, am I glad to be surfing the www! I was starting to feel thrown back into time, Stone Age or something… It was becoming a pain in the a** to be in the studio all day, not able to order or check things, it had to be done in the evening at home, where a huge pile of household chores were still waiting for me. But now I’m back, and I can do those chores in the evening again, yay! Yep, that was meant to be sarcastic – before today I really had a reason to NOT do those chores…

So back to work it is! Have a nice weekend everyone!

Jaja, het is bijna twee weken geleden sinds het nieuwe atelier is geopend, dus wil ik even wat foto’s delen van de winkelruimte, zodat jullie een eerste indruk hebben: je kan ze hier vinden. Ik heb nog steeds mijn besteld branders niet, dus er zijn nog even geen foto’s van het eigenlijke atelier, maar ik verwacht ze binnenkort. Ik ben ook bezig met het maken van foto’s van de nieuwe wintercollectie, dus kom later nog eens kijken, ofwel op de fanpagina op Facebook.

Vandaag zijn ze eindelijk internet komen aansluiten, en man, het was niks te vroeg! Het begon al aan te voelen alsof ik teruggesmeten was in het stenen tijdperk ofzo… het werd echt vervelend dat ik pas thuis alles kon bestellen of dingen kon opzoeken/nakijken omdat ik volle dagen in het atelier ben. Het moest dus telkens ’s avonds gebeuren wanneer ik thuis was, maar daar wachtte me altijd nog een hoop huishoudelijke taken. Maar nu ben ik opnieuw online, dus kan ik die taken ’s avonds doen, joepie! Ja, dat was dus sarcastisch bedoeld – vóór vandaag had ik inderdaad een reden om die taken NIET te doen…

Dus terug aan het werk! Ik wens jullie allemaal een fijn weekend toe!

Fresh new start

Together with the new studio, I start this new blog. I will post weekly from now on, some things about the studio and showing pictures of new jewelry and beads. I hope you’ll come and visit my blog regularly and feel free to comment!
